Welcome to Maine
Since recently moving to Maine I have had wonderful experiences working with the Oak Street Studios assisting in art classes as well as assisting Foreside Home and Garden during their most recent catalog photo shoot.
Website, Logo Design, Constant Contact &Social Media
I currently manage Featherstone Center for the Arts' Website, e-Newsletters, and social media outlets.
Up to date calendar listings and constantly growing class offers keep the site ever changing in addition to seasonal turnovers and an influx of data in the summer season.
Designed logo in honor of Featherstone Center for the Arts'15th anniversary
Logo is on all promotional information, newsletters, merchandise, etc.
Linoleum print
I design, launch and manager contacts for Featherstone's Constant Contact newsletters. Once a week during the summer and once a month in the off season. While in college I designed and launched e-newsletters for the Visual and Performing Arts Events department.
After explaining the importance of social media to the more mature audience of the Featherstone Board, I quickly created Facebook and Twitter accounts for the Art Center. The positive returns on this new presence allowed me to attend seminars on social media and network with other regional arts organization creating a more defined web of social community.

Featherstone Curator: Pebble Gallery
The Pebble Gallery, located on the campus of Featherstone Center for the Arts, is a unique gallery space focused on showcasing new and up and coming local artists. In celebration of Featherstone's 15th Anniversary, I curated 15 shows in the Pebble Gallery over the course of the summer highlighting new, fresh, local art. The artsits ranged from High School seniors, collaborative groups, father/daughter artists, to make-up artists and boat builders.
Myself, the Executive Director of Featherstone, along with the artsist(s)

Featherstone Flea & Fine Arts Market
One of Featherstone's most successful fundraisers is their outdoor Flea & Fine Arts Market.
Throughout the summer season Featherstone hosts over 150 local artists who bring their jewelry, paintings, antiques, clothing, crafts and sell them across Featherstone's campus.
After a year of assisting the Flea Market Coordinator and acting as Fee Collector I became the Flea Market Coordinator. I managed all vendors, new and returning- communicating with them before, during, and after the season in regards to their space on campus, advertising, promotion, etc.
Teaching at Featherstone Center for the Arts
Throughout my time at Featherstone Center for the Arts I tough art classes to children between the ages of 7-18. My first experience was assisting in an afternoon drop in class, then lead teaching. The following year I participated in the Free After School Art program for high school students, teaching a mixed media class that focused mainly on artist books. In my final year I became lead teacher of the 7-10 year old summer art camp as well as teaching classes at the YMCA for their summer camp program for a similar age group.
